First SB3, Now FY2026: The Hidden War on Hemp, and Our Rights Being Taken.

While we’ve been busy fighting tooth and nail in Texas to protect our right to natural, plant-based medicine, something major has been quietly moving in Washington D.C.—and it’s about to change the entire hemp industry as we know it.

🏛️ What’s Happening Now?
A new amendment hidden inside the federal FY 2026 Agriculture spending bill is working its way through Congress. If passed, it will redefine “hemp” to exclude any product with “quantifiable amounts” of THC—including Delta‑8, Delta‑9, Delta‑10, THCA, and any intoxicating cannabinoid, even in microdoses.
This means:
🌱 Hemp-derived edibles like ours
🚫 Infused beverages
🧪 Nano-tech THC products
…could all be federally banned, even if compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill and your state laws.
🤯 Why This Matters
This isn’t just about Delta‑8: The bill targets all psychoactive cannabinoids, even if they’re naturally occurring and hemp-derived.
Even trace amounts could disqualify a product—making many CBD formulas illegal too.
No more shipping or sales across state lines. This wipes out thousands of small businesses and local brands, including Hiyas Ballz.

🇺🇸 Wait—Didn’t We Already Fight This?
Yes. Just weeks ago, we stood our ground in Texas, pushing back against Senate Bill 3, which would’ve wiped out infused hemp products statewide. Thanks to the power of community and advocacy, we got that bill vetoed.
But now? We’re being blindsided at the federal level. No national news coverage. No headlines. Just a quiet political maneuver that could kill off the entire hemp-derived THC industry.
This is a full-circle assault on choice, healing, and plant-based freedom.
🧱 What You Can Do to Fight Against the FY2026 Hemp Ban
If you believe in your right to choose what goes in your body…If you believe small businesses should not be steamrolled by outdated fear-driven laws…If you’ve found peace, relief, or joy from plant medicine…
