Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has made one thing painfully clear: he doesn’t care about small businesses, natural medicine, or the freedom of Texans. What he does care about is control. And SB3 is his most blatant power grab yet.
Let’s call it what it is. This isn’t regulation. It’s prohibition. It’s profit-protection for Big Pharma, Big Alcohol, and political donors. It’s anti-science, anti-wellness, and anti-freedom.
And if we’re being real—it’s fascist energy in a modern day Texas suit.

🚫 What Dan Patrick "Hemp Hitler's" SB3 Would Do:
Ban Federally legal hemp-derived THC products (Delta-8, Delta-9, THCA, HHC,… everything; even some CBDs!)
Destroy thousands of small businesses—including wellness brands, smoke shops, and infused product makers. (Putting over 50,000 people out of jobs, and losing over $8 Billion in tax revenue.)
Wipe out access to plant-based medicine that many rely on for anxiety, sleep, pain, PTSD, and more
Leave Texas patients with only one option: the highly restrictive and barely functional TCUP program
Let’s not forget: Texas already has some of the most backwards cannabis laws in the country. Now they want to gut the only access we do have.

By banning hemp, he pushes Texans into a closed system that funnels profits to a very small group
