The Hemp Hitler: Dan Patrick's War on Wellness

Updated: 2 days ago

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has made one thing painfully clear: he doesn’t care about small businesses, natural medicine, or the freedom of Texans. What he does care about is control. And SB3 is his most blatant power grab yet.

Let’s call it what it is. This isn’t regulation. It’s prohibition. It’s profit-protection for Big Pharma, Big Alcohol, and political donors. It’s anti-science, anti-wellness, and anti-freedom.

And if we’re being real—it’s fascist energy in a modern day Texas suit.

Dan Patrick Hemp Hitler
Lt Governor Dan Patrick uses political blackmail to push his agenda and strip us of our right to choose natural wellness.

🚫 What Dan Patrick "Hemp Hitler's" SB3 Would Do:

  • Ban Federally legal hemp-derived THC products (Delta-8, Delta-9, THCA, HHC,… everything; even some CBDs!)

  • Destroy thousands of small businesses—including wellness brands, smoke shops, and infused product makers. (Putting over 50,000 people out of jobs, and losing over $8 Billion in tax revenue.)

  • Wipe out access to plant-based medicine that many rely on for anxiety, sleep, pain, PTSD, and more

  • Leave Texas patients with only one option: the highly restrictive and barely functional TCUP program

Let’s not forget: Texas already has some of the most backwards cannabis laws in the country. Now they want to gut the only access we do have.

Texas is once again at battle, only this time it's within the walls.

🕵️‍♂️ Follow the Money

Why is Dan Patrick so obsessed with banning hemp?

Let’s connect the dots:

  • He’s a known supporter of Big Pharma and Big Alcohol donors

    💊 Pharmaceutical Industry Contributions

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has received notable contributions from pharmaceutical companies:

    • Pfizer: Pfizer has donated to multiple Texas legislators, including Patrick, as part of their political giving strategy. Dallas Express

    • Centene Corp: A healthcare company that contributed $25,000 to Patrick's campaign.

    • UnitedHealth Group: Donated $20,000 to Patrick's campaign.

    • CVS Health: Contributed $20,000 to Patrick's campaign. OpenSecrets+2Dan Patrick Show+2Wikipedia+2

    🍺 Alcohol Industry Contributions

Patrick has also received significant donations from the alcohol industry:

    • Silver Eagle Beverages: One of the largest beer distributors in the U.S., contributed $250,000 to Patrick's campaign.

    • Constellation Brands: A leading producer of beer, wine, and spirits, donated $2,000 to Patrick's campaign.

    • Sazerac Co: A major American distiller, contributed $1,500 to Patrick's campaign. OpenSecrets

  • The TCUP medical marijuana program is monopolized by just a few corporate license holders.

  • By banning hemp, he pushes Texans into a closed system that funnels profits to a very small group

It’s not about safety. It’s about money, greed, and keeping control in the hands of the powerful—while silencing the rest of us. Don't let that Hemp Hitler Dan Patrick take away your rights.

The access to plant medicine is a right that should not be taken away.

We’re Not Taking It

At Hiyas Ballz, we don’t just make edibles—we make statements.

That’s why we dropped two bold, Heavy Hitter dosed flavors this month in protest:

🍫 100 mg German Chocolate Ballz – Because Lt. Dan wants to be a hemp Hitler.

🍌 75mg BanDan Ballz – Because if he wants to ban our plants, we’ll name a damn Ball after him.

📝 Take Action: Sign the Petition

Join thousands of Texans demanding that Governor Abbott veto SB3 and protect our plant-based rights.

🧁 This Isn’t Just About Edibles

It’s about freedom. It’s about access. It’s about the right to choose how we heal. And we refuse to let a hemp-hating politician play God with our medicine.

We’re 100% FED UP.And still 0.3% compliant.
