What They Don't Want you to See- The FY2026 Federal Hemp Ban

This is not a conspiracy theory. It’s happening.

Just weeks ago, we won a major fight here in Texas. Senate Bill 3 (SB3) would have banned nearly all hemp-derived THC products, including the edibles and oils so many people rely on for pain, anxiety, sleep, and creativity. We rallied. We pushed back. We won.
But while we were fighting in the open, a much bigger threat was being slipped quietly into a federal spending bill.
And barely anyone noticed.
🛑 The FY2026 Agriculture-FDA Spending Bill: A Trojan Horse
In June, the U.S. House Appropriations Committee passed a hidden amendment in the FY2026 Agriculture Appropriations Bill. The language seems technical and boring—but its impact is massive:
Redefines "hemp" to exclude any product with quantifiable THC or THCA (even if below 0.3%).
Outlaws Delta-8, Delta-10, THCA, and most other naturally derived cannabinoids if they have intoxicating effects.
Bans synthetically converted cannabinoids even if hemp-derived.
Would effectively eliminate edibles, gummies, tinctures, and beverages sold legally across the U.S.
This is not just about Hemp derived THC. It’s a coordinated federal effort to wipe out every psychoactive or full-spectrum hemp product.
And it’s working. Because no one’s talking about it.
📈 Who Benefits from The FY2026 Hemp Ban?
1. Big Pharma
Pharmaceutical companies are racing to patent synthetic cannabinoids while lobbying to criminalize natural ones.
Drugs like Epidiolex (from GW Pharma) are already profiting from CBD.
Banning natural competition clears the market for FDA-approved, pharma-priced alternatives.
2. Corporate Cannabis (MSOs)
Large multistate operators hate hemp-derived THC because it competes with their highly regulated cannabis businesses.
If hemp products are banned federally, they hold the monopoly on legal intoxicating cannabinoids.
Some are actively lobbying Congress to "clarify the hemp loophole" to crush small, independent players.
3. Politicians & Lobbyists
Politicians burying this amendment inside a must-pass budget bill is the ultimate shady move.
No public hearings. No press. No opportunity for stakeholders to be heard.
This is government by manipulation, not representation.
🚨 What This Means for You
Your favorite infused gummy? Gone.
CBD with a full spectrum formula? Banned.
Legal plant medicine from hemp? Wiped out overnight.
Small businesses like Hiyas Ballz? Shut down to make way for corporations.
This isn't just overregulation. This is economic warfare disguised as public safety.
And it was designed to slide past you without a sound.
